There are several criteria used for selection of contest winner.
- Poem with highest score (rating of viewers) will be on first priority.
- Poem that follows following 7 elements, will be on second priority.
- Originality
- Emotion
- Focus and clarity
- Organized, fluid writing style
- Authenticity
- Strength and distinction of voice
- Imagination
Some Important Suggestions:
- Whether the topic of poem, a world issue a person a place or a thing, we would like you to write about something you are very passionate about.
- Any style, but we will be looking at the academics as well as the emotional depth of your poetry.
- Flow and texture very important more so than typos. We will not deduct for a typo, but will if there is spelling issues throughout, so spell check please!
